Description
The Veris Industries PWXX05S 0/250 is a wet differential pressure transducer intended for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning applications. This gauges the pressure differential between two liquids or gasses and outputs an electrical signal with a 4–20 milliamp range. The various HVAC system components can then be controlled by monitoring and control systems using this signal. This is the manner in which it operates: Two ports on the transducer connect to various system locations where pressure has to be sensed. A diaphragm inside the transducer experiences force due to the pressure differential between these two sites. A sensor then transforms this diaphragm movement into an electrical signal.
