The Robertshaw 712-019 Ignition Kit is an essential component of the HVAC systems. Designed to work on an intermittent pilot ignition system where the pilot flame ignites the burner only when needed. If a heating demand is required, the system will send a 24V signal to open the gas valve, and natural gas will flow to the pilot assembly. The pilot is then lit with the support of a spark or a hot surface igniter. Then, the flame is detected by a flame sensor, and the main burner is consequently.
