Description
The Trane THT0905 is a Thermostat created for Trane HVAC equipment in a Single Pole, Normally Closed, for heating systems. It is used as a control for freeze protection. It may be used in several electrical connections due to its 120/240 volts voltage. Some of them are involved in monitoring the temperature of the surrounding environment. The thermostat provides an electrical circuit closure when the temperature goes below 35 °F, which is the open point. This closure can switch on a heating element or shut off a valve. The heating function is turned off at the near-threshold temperature of 40°F at which the circuit is reopened.
