Description
The Carrier HN53EK115 is a Contactor, with an Electro-Magnetic Switch to control the high-power electrical loads in HVAC systems. It works like a high current relay, where a low voltage control circuit is used to switch on a magnetic field. This magnetic field switches high-voltage contacts and regulates the main current of an electric circuit. It is used in different parts of HVAC system compressors, air handling units, and heating parts. It is designed for use with 120V systems with a current of 160 amps and measures 4.8″ in length, 6.8″ in width, and 6.6″ in height, it is built to be sturdy.
