Description
The Burnham New Yorker 80160474 SPST Immersion Aquastat 180°F-240°F is an essential part of any hydronic heating system used in homes and buildings to regulate water temperatures. It works as a protective device and a thermostat for the boiler. When the water temperature gets to the user-set point within the range of 180°F-240°F the SPST switch opens and thus breaks the electrical signal to the boiler and halts its operations. Therefore, when the water is cold, the switch turns off the boiler and turns it on again to maintain the right water temperature in the heating system.
