Description
The York S1-026-32119-001 SPST Pressure Switch is an essentialpart of the HVAC systems which is used to control pressure in heating and air conditioning units. Being a single pole, single throw switch, it makes or breaks an electrical circuit when a given value is attained, in this case, 0.40 WC. This switch is used in furnaces and air handlers to enhance safety as it protects the system from working under the wrong pressure. If the value drops below the predetermined value, the switch breaks the circuit; thus, the system is turned off to prevent malfunctions or dangerous operations.
