The York S1-025-31960-000 Crankcase Band Heater is designed to warm the compressor crankcase to proper temperatures in HVAC applications. This band heater with a power of 70 Watts and voltage of 480 V fixes around the crankcase to provide consistent heat. This eliminates undue thickening or congealing of the refrigerant especially in cold climates to enhance easier starts and reduce stress on the compressor.
