Description
The Trane VAL7157 2-way normally closed solenoid valve in HVAC application designed to be used. This one opens and closes in reaction to an electrical signal to permit the flow of steam or water through a pipe. It remains closed and ceases flow whenever it is in the non-actuated position, or its baseline position. It opens when operated and allows passage of steam or water through it. This 1/2″ sweat connection valve is used often for residential and commercial HVAC systems. It directly connects to copper pipes through a sweat connection, thus making it safe from leaking. This kind of zone valve is recommended for instances where fine control of either steam or water is needed.
