Description
Sporlan Controls 109003 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part of HVAC systems especially designed for use with R404A refrigerant. It has 3/8” X 1/2” ODF connections and a 30” capillary tube for use in different refrigeration applications. The main role of the TXV is refrigerant flow into the evaporator circuit to maintain a maximum superheat. The TXV regulates refrigerant flow depending on the various temperatures identified by the bulb to keep liquid refrigerant from causing harm to a compressor. This valve is used in commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump applications to gain advantages such as increased energy efficiency, better system performance, and anti-overheat.
