The Nordyne 01-0271 Round Capacitor 45/7.5MFD 370V is a dual-value run capacitor used to supply continuous reactive power to motors in compressors, and external fan assemblies in HVAC systems. It accumulates and discharges electrical energy to sustain motor torque and efficiency to allow smooth start-up and constant performance under load. It is installed in the electrical compartment of the unit and connected to the circuit of the motor according to the service requirements and is used to maintain the correct operation of the motor, minimize the risk of overheating, and enhance the overall electrical balance in the HVAC systems.
