Description
The MARS 11950 Round Motor Start Capacitor rated 161-193 MFD at 250V, is used in single-phase motors to provide the initial phase shift required for starting torque. It stores electrical energy and releases it quickly to energize the start winding until the motor reaches operating speed. In air conditioning compressors, pump motors, blower assemblies, and other HVAC systems, it is connected in series with the start circuit inside the electrical compartment. The capacitor is housed in a sealed round casing with two terminals for quick connection.
