Description
The Johnson Controls VG7281ET is one of the valve models which is 2-way, normally open globe valve body that is suitable for application in hydronic heating and cooling systems only. It uses cast bronze for construction in order to avoid rusting and general wearing out. The valve body has a 1/2” union sweat connection which enables it to be easily connected and disconnected from piping systems. In its de-energized state – or its natural state – the valve design lets flow pass through it. When energized it closes the valve and thus stops the flow of water. This kind of valve is particularly suitable for use in zone control, where it is required that specific areas of a large system receive specific amounts of water.
