The Johnson Controls VG7243NT is a 2-Way Normally Open Globe valve which is of stainless steel type. It is intended to control the amount of water or steam to flow through the HVAC systems and or to opens or close when signaled by a controller. Globe valves are used for moderate control of flow of fluids while gate valves only open or close fully. They are ideal for use in hydronic heating system where regulation of the flow of hot water is essential for the comfort of building occupants. The VG7243NT is a normally open valve, which must be signaled to close, while remaining open otherwise.
