Description
The Johnson Controls VG1245FR is a 2 inch, 2-way stainless steel ball valve used to provide control for the flow of air in HVAC systems. It has a small, strong, forged stainless steel construction for long-lasting and zero leakage performance. The valve employs a rotating ball with a V-port to control hot or chilled water, 50/50 glycol solutions, and low-pressure steam. When the handle is rotated, the ball either opens or closes the flow path depending on the requirement of the system, fully or partially. This valve is normally utilized with electric actuators that interface with a building’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning control system. The actuator gets signals from the controller and turns the valve handle to regulate the flow rate to provide the required comfort in the building.
