Description
The Johnson Controls VG1245DRH958BAA is a two-position, spring-return actuated ball valve to be used in HVAC application. It regulates fluids by turning a ball that is smaller and has an aperture through it. However, when supplied with 120V power the valve opens the flow. This feature, referred as “spring-return”, guarantee that the valve fails closed in case of a power loss, which makes the system safer. Their capacity in terms of water flow is given with the help of Cv which stands for the gallons per minute at a given pressure drop and the VG1245DRH958BAA is said to be 29.2Cv. The 1 1/4 inch NPT threaded connections enable easy insertion into currently used pipe lines.
