The Johnson Controls D-3062-4 Damper Actuator is a versatile pneumatic device used in sealing HVAC systems to allow the control of air dampers with a high degree of precision. The 1/4” NPT pipe connector makes installation easier in existing pneumatic piping systems. This has a proportional control action, this is because the damper setting is equal to the air pressure received. For instance, elevated pressure extends the damper and promotes more airflow In contrast, low pressure reduces the damper and restricts airflow. This proportional control affords better control than the on/off damper control.
