Description
The ClimateMaster 13B0003N01 Contactor relay is used for 3-pole compressors in HVAC systems. This electrical switch regulates the flow of voltage going to the compressor, the piston of an air conditioning or heat pump system. This is achieved by applying a small 24V electrical signal to an electromagnet that in turn closes the high voltage 3-phase circuit hence allowing power to the compressor. It has a rating of 30A and can be used for different residential and some light commercial HVAC system applications. Benefits include dependable switching of high current loads to ensure compressor operation and overall system performance. This contactor is designed as a starter and stopper of the compressor depending on the set temperatures and the energy conservation within the HVAC system.
