Description
The Carrier 50DK500295 Gasket is a thin rectangular shaped rubber or silicone material which is to provide a sealing interface between two surfaces in HVAC equipments. Adapting to the surfaces it comes into with it seals off spaces and does not allow any of air, water or other fluids. Seals can lower the performance of HVAC systems and therefore gaskets are crucial in maintaining efficiency. A well sealed case does not allow air, water or other fluids in it and thus minimizes loss of energy. Leaks can cause the HVAC systems to struggle to maintain the desired temperature, a well sealed system will therefore be more efficient.
