Description
The Danfoss 068U2185 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a special purpose device which can be used to regulate the refrigerant in HVAC systems that use R404A or R507A refrigerants. There is an inlet of ³⁸” and a nozzle of ½”, when it is adjusted with 31” capillary tube, it can be used for controlling the refrigerant flow of bi-metal and steel/copper, the unit has 0.46-liter. It is built to withstand 500 PSI at the maximum working pressure. This is because the valve has an orifice size of 6 and can handle orifice capacities up to 4.2 kW (1.2 tons). It has an equalization size of 1/4” and works better in temperatures of -40°F to 50°F.
