Description
The Danfoss 068U2075 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a component in HVAC systems that finds application in controlling refrigerant flow using either R22 or R407C refrigerants. This valve has an input size of 3/8” and an output size of 1/2” and is fitted with a capillary tube of 31” for control of the refrigerant. They are made of steel/copper and bi-metal and are designed to handle up to 500 PSI of operating pressure. This is because it can handle up to 16 kW of refrigerant flow or 4.5 tons of the orifice size of 9, making it apt for mid to large-use commercial and residential A/C systems. The valve has an equalization size of 1/4 inch and works fine at a temperature range of -40°F to 50°F.
